Academic Faculty Position in Physical Education

About the position

The University invites applications for at least one full-time faculty position in Physical Education. Applicants should indicate their preferred rank: Assistant Professor, Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor (Docent), or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Teaching Physical Education at undergraduate level.
• Organizing practical classes, monitoring students' physical fitness, and participating in University sports and recreational events.
• Developing course programmes in accordance with national education standards and the University's internal regulations.

Requirements

• Higher education in Physical Education and Sport.
• Academic teaching and/or practical experience teaching physical education in educational institutions.
• Fluency in Kazakh and Russian.

Key competencies

• Knowledge of physical education teaching methods.
• Proficiency in contemporary approaches to assessing students' physical fitness.

Advantages

Experience organizing sports clubs and university competitions.

Selection process

Document review, interview, and delivery of a demonstration class in the subject area.
