  • Asset management and life-cycle optimisation of hydraulic systems

Responsibilities

  • Lead academic programme development in civil and hydraulic engineering, architecture, and construction management;
  • Define the School's research priorities in sustainable infrastructure, digital construction technologies, and hydraulic systems;
  • Develop partnerships with construction companies, water infrastructure agencies, and engineering consultancies;
  • Recruit, supervise, and support academic and technical staff;
  • Ensure educational quality and alignment with national and international engineering standards;
  • Manage the School's budget, resources, and operational planning;
  • Represent the School in university governance and professional engineering networks

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree (PhD or equivalent) in civil engineering, structural engineering, architecture, construction, or a related discipline;
  • Proven academic and research record with publications or project experience in infrastructure design and management;
  • Demonstrated leadership and management experience in higher education or engineering organizations;
  • Familiarity with modern design tools, construction technologies, and sustainability standards;
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills;
