About KazNUWMI

• ​​Provide interdisciplinary Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD programs that bridge hydrology, hydraulics, environmental engineering, irrigation, data science, and resource governance.
• Advance research and innovation in water security, climate resilience, smart irrigation, wastewater reuse, naturebased solutions, and digital water systems (GIS, remote sensing, modeling, IoT).
• Translate science into policy and practice through collaboration with government agencies, basin authorities, industry, and international partners.
• Develop national expertise and standards in integrated water resources management (IWRM) and sustainable infrastructure.
• Build professional capacity via lifelong learning, certification, and extension programs for utilities, farms, and municipalities.
• Foster entrepreneurship and technology transfer through pilot projects, living labs, and startup support.
